Melissa in Marc Bouwer. Inspired by a tablecloth or a doily? I’m not sure which was more offensive–her F bomb, or this dress.
Hilary looked stunning in a strapless, feathered gown by Gucci, crystal detailed heels and a Roger Vivier clutch.
Colin Firth and Livia Giuggioli
Colin looking lovely as always in Tom Ford.
Helen looking radiant in a Vivienne Westwood Couture gown with a satin Ferragamo clutch and Sergio Rossi. Helen knocks it out of the park every time.
Cate looked stunning in a lilac and mustard colored gown by Givenchy. This is ones of those ones that you love or hate. I was torn on the mustard colored beading at first, but she pulled this off beautifully. Hats off for taking a risk.
Christian in a Gucci suit, and watch, and cufflinks and Harry Winston jewels. Love the black on black.
Flo in a Valentino Couture dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. She can totally pull this off with her quirky style.
Hailee in an embroidered tulle tea length dress by Machesa. I love this girl, she is absolutely adorable. Every time I see her she is in something age appropriate and looks fantastic. I’m sure we’ll be seeing a lot of her in years to come.
Adams in L’Wren Scott. This was a win for her, but the necklace was an odd pairing.
Halle in a nude and crystal encrusted corset Marchesa gown with organza and silk tulle ruffles. Yea, this is going to sound crazy but her looking beautiful all of the time is getting boring to me.
Russell with his mom and date Barbara, both looking lovely.
I’m sorry, but I’m not familiar? looked beautiful in a simple, red custom made Calvin Klein gown, Jimmy Choo shoes and a luxury Judith Leiber clutch. Every time I saw her though, I was reminded of Scarlet Johansson’s Golden Globe dress (see next pic) from 2006.
Scarlet in Valentino at the Golden Globes in 2006. Jennifer Lawerence, I’m sorry but next time try to do your homework and go for a different look so we’re not thinking about someone else.
Camila Alves and Matthew McConaughey
Matthew looked dapper in Dolce & Gabbana and Camila looked smashing in a Kaufman Franco dress, Stuart Weitzman shoes, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Kotur bag.
Sharon in a Christian Dior silk crepe one-shoulder gown with an ostrich feather detail and hair. for days.
Michelle in a white, sequined Chanel gown. Total white out. I’m not sure if it’s just the photos, but this is a horrible pick for Williams. It completely washes her out, and I don’t like the fit. And please stop with the Audrey Hepburn comparisons, it’s only because she has a pixie cut.
Mila looked light and beautiful in a light lavender lace gown from Elie Saab Spring 2011 Couture collection. Neil Lane jewelry a Bottega Veneta clutch completed her outfit. Gorgeous.
Reese in a black and white Armani Prive gown. Definitely could have picked something better, and who did her hair??
Sandra looked beautiful in a red strapless gown by Vera Wang, Jimmy Choo’s, a matching red clutch, and Harry Winston diamond earrings. Not her best, but still very pretty. Uh, was anyone else immediately reminded of how happy she was last year when she walked out on stage?
Helena Bonham Carter
Helena worked with costume designer Coleen Atwood on her dress. Love Helena, and love that she wanted to work with a costume designer for her gown. Also loved her reaction to Melissa Leo’s “shocked” win for best supporting actress.
Ms. hot body Hudson looked gorgeous in a can summer please get here now tangerine-orange Versace gown. She completed her look with (so we’re told) purple Versace platform heels and Neil Lane jewels. As lovely as she looked, I couldn’t help but continue to stare at her bust…it did not look right. Anybody?
Scarlet in a floor-length maroon gown with lace detail by Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Louboutin shoes and Anna Hu jewelry. Did she and Melissa Leo get together and plan outfits?
Nicole in a Christian Dior gown from the Spring 2009 Collection. Not the right color for her, and not diggin’ the origami structure. Side note-Nicole, please get your husband to the barber and get rid of those matching highlights.
The Black Swan beauty glowed in a violet gown with a v-neck and Swarovski crystal detailing by Rodarte. Portman’s shoes were by Jimmy Choo and Tiffany jewelry pieces. Not crazy about the earrings however-they reminded me of Audrey Hepburn’s earplugs in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
Robert Downey, Jr. and Susan Downey
Robert looking silly and handsome in a satin-edged midnight blue tux by Prada, while wife Susan opted for a black column dress.
