What do designers want to see Angie in for her big day? Take a look at some sketches from prominent designers.

Reem Acre

  • Heavy ivory silk with long sleeves of Italian tulle.
  • Vision:“Angelina will not be a ‘typical’ bride, of course,” says the Lebanese-born Acra, who has outfitted Middle Eastern royals for their walks down the aisle. “Like me, she prefers to give everything her own spin. I picture her in a structured gown: simple yet sophisticated couture, traditional but unique and, as always, elegant but undeniably sexy.” []

Pamella Roland

  • Asymmetrical ivory chiffon with a flowing train, matching satin buttons and a side slit, accessorized with a silk tulle veil and ivory chiffon gloves.
  • Vision:Roland, who has dressed Jolie before, envisions her and Brad Pitt marrying in an intimate outdoor ceremony at their French chateau. So she created “something with clean and classic lines, not a traditional wedding dress but a flowy, carefree gown that will be easy to wear and not too formal. I wanted her to have something that was romantic, while still showcasing her confidence and sex appeal” — hence the slight, one-shouldered skin reveal. [USA]

Christian Siriano Option 1

  • Lightweight strapless silk crepe in soft ivory, with a fitted trumpet silhouette and light tulle overlay rimmed with petals.
  • Vision:Siriano, who has counted Christina Hendricks and fellow Project Runway star Heidi Klum among his clients, would rein in his signature ruffles for Jolie’s nuptials. The look? “Classic glamour … effortless but unique.” The goal is a gown that’s “light and romantic because that is what I think her day would be all about”: easy and fuss-free. [USA]

Christian Siriano Option 2

  • Lightweight ivory silk crepe with a paper-bag waist, cut low in the back with soft layered tulle attached to each shoulder “giving an almost angel-like wing movement,” Siriano says.
  • Vision:There’s been lots of speculation about a destination affair for the Jolie-Pitt clan, so Siriano sketched up what he dubs the “perfect beach wedding” dress — a “relaxed” rendition that’s more formal frock than gussied-up gown. [USA]

Tadashi Shoji

  • Crepe back satin gown with deep embroidered lace bodice.
  • Vision Shoji, known for his elegant eveningwear, is no stranger to dressing A-list actresses. Octavia Spencer swept this year’s awards circuit — including the Academy Awards where she nabbed best supporting actress — dressed in his designs. As for Angie’s big day, Shoji says her “wedding gown should be anything but conventional. Only she can pull off this sleek crepe back satin gown that’s accompanied by a very daring, plunging embroidered lace front bodice.” [USA]

“I envisioned Angelina as a wholesome sophisticated vision of the bride that her children imagine her to be, not her sexy red carpet signature style,” he says. “This one is for her family.” O’Neill’s fantasy design features a long-sleeve silhouette of French Chantilly lace over a corseted sweetheart bodice in silk mousseline and organza with a tulle appliqué hem. “The dramatic silk tulle veil is trimmed with lace to add mystery and allure,” the designer adds. Jacqueline Traide volunteered to participate in a shocking experiment that was done to raise awareness about what animals go through when they have cosmetics tested on them.
I’m pretty sure all of us know that some companies test on animals, but do we really think about it?

Maybe these images will bring the realization that this is an awful process.
